Privacy Policy

1. Collection and Use of Personal Information

TapDiary does not require user registration or login, and we do not collect directly identifying personal information such as your name, phone number, or email address. However, to serve in-app ads and to analyze usage for service improvement, certain information — such as advertising identifiers, device information, and app usage data — may be collected through the third-party SDKs described in Sections 4 and 5 below.

2. Data Storage

By default, all data entered by the user (including logs, memos, and timestamps) is stored locally on the user's device. We do not collect or store your records on any of our servers.

If you enable iCloud Sync within the iOS app, the data is additionally stored in your own Apple iCloud account and synced across other devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Data stored in iCloud resides in your personal iCloud storage. The Company (developer) cannot access or read this data. Transmission and storage security is handled by Apple's standard policies. You may stop iCloud Sync at any time by disabling the option in the app settings, or delete your data stored in iCloud through the app's menu.

3. Payment Information

  • In-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • We do not collect or store your payment details (e.g. card numbers or payment methods). Payment processing is governed by each Store's privacy policy.
  • Your purchase status (whether Premium is active) is stored on your device only. When switching devices, you can restore your purchase via the same Store account.

4. Advertising

  • This app uses Google AdMob to display ads.
  • Google and its advertising partners may collect and use advertising identifiers (Ad ID/IDFA), device IDs, IP addresses, and app activity data (such as ad impressions and clicks).
  • On iOS, advertising identifiers are used only if you consent under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can limit personalized ads through the "Limit Ad Tracking" / opt-out option in your device settings.
  • Data processing through AdMob is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

5. Analytics

  • This app uses Google Firebase Analytics to analyze usage statistics and improve the service.
  • Firebase collects device information, an installation identifier, and app usage data, which is processed solely for statistical analysis.
  • Data processing through Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

6. Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share, provide, or entrust the records you enter to any third parties. However, the following external providers are involved in processing for advertising, analytics, payment, and sync, and each provider's privacy policy applies:

  • Advertising: Google AdMob
  • Analytics: Google Firebase Analytics
  • Payment: Apple or Google
  • iCloud Sync (when enabled): Apple iCloud
