1. Introduction
Welcome to TapDiary. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TapDiary mobile application ("Service") provided by Darak("Company", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of Service and User Responsibility
TapDiary is a customizable recording and statistics tool. While users may utilize the Service for various purposes such as health management, parenting, or learning, the features provided by the Service are for simple recording and reference purposes only.
The Company does not guarantee the medical utility or professional accuracy of the data recorded by users. Users should not make important decisions regarding their health based solely on the records and statistics provided by the Service. The user is solely responsible for any results arising from the use of the Service.
3. Free and Premium Features
The Service includes both free features and paid features ("Premium").
- Premium is a one-time purchase with no expiration date.
- Which features are included in Premium (such as iCloud Sync) is described within the app.
- A 7-day free trial is available from the first time you create a button. No charge is applied automatically when the trial ends.
- Users who used the app before Premium was introduced may continue to use the lock screen widget and data export features at no charge. This benefit is tied to your installation — it will not carry over if you delete and reinstall the app.
- We may update the features included in Premium. We will notify you in advance of any significant changes.
- Prices may change over time. Any price changes will not affect purchases already made.
4. Payments and Refunds
- All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Stores"). We do not collect or store your payment information directly.
- All sales are final except where required by applicable law. To request a refund, please contact the Store where you made your purchase.
- If you switch devices, you can restore your Premium purchase by signing in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
5. Data Storage and User Responsibility
- Local Storage: By default, all data entered into TapDiary (including logs, memos, and button settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your personal records on external servers.
- iCloud Sync (iOS, Optional): You may enable iCloud Sync in the iOS app settings to store your data in your own Apple iCloud account and sync it across devices signed in with the same Apple ID. This feature relies on the iCloud service provided by Apple, and your use is also subject to Apple's terms of service and privacy policy.
- Limitations of iCloud Services: The Company is not liable for data loss or inconsistency caused by issues on Apple's side, including but not limited to sync delays, failures, conflicts, insufficient iCloud storage, or changes to your Apple ID status (e.g., sign-out, account deletion).
- Data Loss: Locally stored data is removed when you delete the App, change or reset your device, or lose your device. If you have not enabled iCloud Sync, this data is permanently lost and cannot be recovered. Data stored in iCloud is permanently deleted only if you delete it directly through the App, or if you remove or terminate your Apple ID.
- Backup Responsibility: You are responsible for managing your data. The Company is not liable for any data loss caused by device errors, incidents on Apple's iCloud service side, or user negligence.
6. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding its accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the Company. However, the data created and stored by the user belongs to the user.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
