Record directly from your lock screen without opening the app. iOS lock screen widgets are here.
TapDiary v1.3 Update: Lock Screen Widget
You can now record right from your iPhone's lock screen. In v1.3, TapDiary supports iOS lock screen widgets.
Record Right From Your Lock Screen
Add a TapDiary widget to your lock screen, and you can log an entry with a single tap without opening the app. Wake your screen, tap the widget, done.
When you drink a glass of water in the morning, take your medication, or finish a workout, you can record it right then and there. No need to find and open the app.
Widget Types
- Quick Record: Tap once to log an entry instantly.
- Today's Records: See up to 3 of your most recent buttons and their counts at a glance.
- Open App: Jump straight into TapDiary from the lock screen.
How to Add the Widget
- Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Customize on your iPhone
- Choose Add Widget
- Find TapDiary and select the button you want
- Done! You can now tap it directly from your lock screen
Best for Frequent Tracking
Place your most-used buttons on the lock screen. It works well for things you track multiple times a day, like water intake, medication, and snacks.
Instant Sync
Data recorded through the widget syncs instantly with the main app. When you open TapDiary later, every entry will be on your timeline.
Update to the latest version on the App Store and try recording with lock screen widgets.
