v1.5.2 adds a follow-along video for setting up the lock screen widget. The same steps you've read in text are now in a one-minute walkthrough.

You can play the video right inside Settings > Lock Screen Widget. It walks through long-pressing the lock screen and adding the widget in a single take.

Lock screen widgets are available on iOS 17 and later. Add the widget directly from the lock screen — not from inside the app.
