TapDiary v1.6.1 Update: Records stay on your device

Added a clear notice on the export screen: TapDiary records are stored only on your device. We also walked through how to move records when switching devices.

TapDiary v1.6.1 Update: Records stay on your device

v1.6.1 adds a small line on the export screen: "TapDiary records are stored only on this device."

It's a clearer reminder of where your records actually live, and how to bring them along when you switch devices.

Moving to a new device

  1. On your old device, go to Settings → Export Records and save the CSV file.
  2. On your new device, install TapDiary and recreate your buttons with the same names. (Records are matched by button name, so the names need to exist before import.)
  3. On your new device, go to Settings → Import Records and pick the CSV file you saved.

Dates, times, and memos all carry over to the new device. So yesterday's flow keeps going.

Update to the latest version on the App Store or Google Play.
