TapDiary v1.9.0 Update: A Reset Cycle for Every Button

Choose a count reset cycle for each button — daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. See how many times it's been this week or this month, right on the home screen.

TapDiary v1.9.0 Update: A Reset Cycle for Every Button

Until now, every button's count went back to 0 at midnight. Starting with v1.9.0, you can set a reset cycle for each button — counting day by day, or seeing how many times a week it's been, whatever fits each button.

Daily · Weekly · Monthly · Yearly

In a button's settings, pick a reset cycle — daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — and the count and elapsed time reset on that cycle.

  • Daily for buttons you count by the day, like drinking water or taking medicine
  • Weekly for buttons where you want to see the week's rhythm, like workouts or grocery runs
  • Monthly for buttons where a month feels natural, like eating out or finishing books
  • Yearly for rare records you don't want to miss, like health checkups or trips

Right there on the home screen

When you change a button's reset cycle, the number on the home screen becomes the running count for that cycle. "How many workouts this week?", "How many times did I eat out this month?" — you can see it on the button the moment you open the app.

Existing buttons stay on daily reset just as they are, so simply adjust the ones you want to change.
